Gas Chromatography - Flight Time Mass Spectrometry (GC-QTOF)
GC/QTOF/MS (Gas Chromatography - Time-of-Flight Mass Spectrometry)
High-Precision Mass Spectrometric Analysis of Volatile Compounds

Agilent 7200B GC/Q-TOF device
Description
Gas chromatography - time-of-flight mass spectrometry (GC/QTOF/MS) is a system that combines the separation capability of gas chromatography (GC) with the high-precision analysis power of quadrupole and time-of-flight (TOF) mass spectrometers. In this system, components separated in the GC column based on their volatility are ionized and then analyzed by mass-to-charge ratio (m/z) in the quadrupole, followed by analysis based on their flight time in the TOF detector. The AGILENT 7200B GC/QTOF device provides high accuracy and sensitivity for structural elucidation and quantitative analysis of trace-level compounds.
